Glaucus' Story is the continuation of Maximus' Story fifteen years after his death in Rome. Maximus is gone but he lives on in our hearts... and through his youngest son, Glaucus, named for his green eyes. Upon learning of his true parentage, Glaucus sets out on an odyssey to put together the puzzle pieces of his father's final days and exact revenge. The journey leads him all over the empire where he finds people who knew his father and have tales to tell about his life that help Glaucus to understand and appreciate this truly remarkable man named Maximus. But, he also crosses paths with powerful people who are shocked to find that the great General Maximus left a son. They are anxious to either use Glaucus to help further their personal ambitions, or eliminate him before he can complicate their lives. Get re-acquainted with familar characters such as Jonivus, Julia, Lucius, Quintus, Marcianus, and more... and meet a host of new ones. I hope you enjoy the story. |
